” There is No Death”

I have always loved this ‘passage’ entitled “There is No Death” and it has given both myself and hundreds of people I have shared it with over the years a sense of peace. Even though we may believe and ‘know’ this to be true, (there IS no death) it still can be a very difficult thing when someone you love ‘passes on’.

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength and I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and the sky come to mingle with each other.

Then someone at my side says: “There! She’s gone!” Gone from my sight that is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side and she is just as able to bear her load of living weight to her destined port.

Her diminished size is in me not in her. And, just at the moment when someone at my side says, “There! She’s gone!” there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout “There she comes!” And that is dying.

What a blessing TAVALA has been for our lives! When I mentioned that today to a friend they asked me IN WHAT WAYS? So as I began to think back, I thought I’d document it as our lives have been enhanced in SO many ways since joining, it really blows my mind. AND….we are just getting started!

We said YES to joining TAVALA back in December …. after hearing what the company has to offer both LEADERS and “Newbies” in the industry of Network Marketing. We weren’t ‘looking’ but we sure were desperate to find something that would work….as our previous business was dead….and losing ground weekly!

Immediately we noticed TAVALA was different than any other company we had looked at (GOOD!) and we loved their approach and vision for the future.

I’m generally a PRODUCT-PERSON and the TAVALA TRIM immediately caught our attention -plus we knew Dr. Min Soo Kim’s newest version of strips called the Quantum Relief Strips were going to be exclusively available through TAVALA. This time around, however, I was ready to emerge as a top leader and create generational income that we have seen others earn in this industry.

After making a heart felt and educated decision we immediately resigned from our previous company (of 10 + years) knowing that we will go full-out with TAVALA. We had dabbled with another company for 5 months as well trying to create additional income and ended up walking away from that company too….. The industry of Network Marketing attracts people of all ages- from 18 to those who are already retired. This is one ‘business’ that is truly a level playing field and doesn’t require being a certain age, or having experience or a certain educational background, being a certain gender or possessing wealth to get started. The only thing a person needs is a true desire to go after what it is that they want in life, and be focused and dedicated to the process of sharing the products and opportunity of the company they are affiliated with…..(and here’s the key) to share with those who are interested and ready. One of the largest segments of population who are joining network marketing companies are the BABY BOOMERS!

Perhaps because we just turned 60 we are noticing a lot of people who are ‘baby boomers’ are digging in deeper than ever with their desire to create a lasting lifestyle at this stage in life. There are many reasons and we’ve had some great conversations with many ‘boomers’ in the past several months. Many of us are wanting to travel to places while we are physically capable and have the energy!

A survey last year by the Insured Retirement Institute found that 40% of baby boomers have nothing saved for retirement. And a Gallup poll revealed that nearly four in 10 Americans believe they’ll work beyond the official retirement age of 65.

A pretty grim retirement picture, right?

As I began thinking more and more about baby boomers in network marketing I stumbled upon several articles that I thought had useful information.

Network Marketing Baby Boomers are Generating a Second Income

One of the biggest trends today comes from Network Marketing Baby Boomers. The Baby Boomers desire for health and longer living is on the rise. Are you in the position to fulfill the needs of the baby boomers and build another stream of income and create financial independence in your life? Are you 50 plus and wondering if you can start a home based business? The answer is, yes you can!!

Here are some well known baby boomer facts:

In 2011, 13% of the US population is age 65 or older
There are 75 million people in the “baby boomer” generation born from 1946 through 1964
2.8 million baby boomers will become eligible for Medicare in 2011
Baby boomers today represent 28% of the US population
The Boomers spending power, every year, reaches to 2.1 trillion dollars. More than any other x-y-z generation.

As you can see here from a few of these demographics the baby boomers are in control and they are looking for ways to live longer, look good and feel better. If you are in a position to fulfill the needs of this every growing community of baby boomers, then you can build a profitable business and another stream of residual income.

Network Marketing Baby Boomers are on the rise!

The realization is that the network marketing industry is going to keep growing at a significant pace because of the network marketing baby boomers. My question to you is, are you going to be one of the smart people who realize this trend and use it to attain some sort of financial freedom?

Day in and day out we see baby boomers working at odd places like: Wal-Mart, McDonalds and other non-fulfilling jobs. And why are they doing this? Well for most it’s because they need another stream of income. Living out your retirement years shouldn’t need to be like that.

If you are reading this and you are concerned about living comfortably in your retirement years and you want to create a new income stream, then consider becoming a network marketing baby boomer.

A recent survey shows 58 percent of Americans are considering second jobs. We all know of someone who is looking for another job or is working 2 to 3 jobs now. It doesn’t matter if you are a stay at home mom, banker, real estate agent or a baby boomer, you can succeed in this business.
