Why is it that the numbers in any Network Marketing Company (volume) often start to decrease or get stagnant during the Summer Months?
They certainly don’t have to if you are true to your DMO, Daily Method of Operation. In fact this summer OUR TEAM has decided to make this statement false by continuing to make our business a priority.
Ever realize that some brilliant companies in downtime, when the economy is sluggish, continue to advertise or INCREASE their advertising? They understand. Professionals in network marketing do too and as a result capture a greater share of the market.
Here is the big ‘summer lie:
For some unknown reason, people slowdown in the summer. This is a big mistake that will cost you 90 days this year! (Typically June, July and August or perhaps even September as you try to gain momentum again)
What if we changed that? 2018 can be your life altering year if you don’t buy into the big lie about summer being slower. What IF you realized that our industry (Network Marketing) can actually GROW in the summer because people are more aware of wanting a better lifestyle for them and their families. (i.e. vacations)
You’ve got TWO choices… Which one will you choose?
#1. Begin building momentum in June, escalate it in July and throughout August…. and by September you can hit the ground running. (Typically parents get caught up with school being out in the summer and having limited time, but if you plan accordingly, use your resources (for us one resource is our APP on our phone) and continue to ‘share’ 2 a day, 5 days a week, you can do your business in 10-30 minutes a day! Just schedule your time! It may mean getting up 30 minutes earlier in the day or stay up 30 minutes later – OR simply fit it in the cracks of your every day life.) (Ask us how, info@DaveandJoy.com)
Think about this…. In the summer you are generally more social and meet more people as you are out and about living life. This is an easy time to drum up a conversation by asking THEM questions. Perhaps what you have to offer in your business is their solution to what they’d love MORE of or LESS of.
#2. You can buy into the lie that summer is always a slower time of the year for everyone in network marketing and try to get some of your people back in the groove in September. Good luck, you may be able to reactive and get 1/3-1/2 of your people reactivated and in motion! Luckily, for us with Tavala, our customer base is high and because of products that are universally in demand, volume should not stop dramatically ….even IF people are not actively building the business.
Imagine if you keep things fresh and growing in the summer (It is a season of growth with nature!) by September you’ll be in full force and end up strong by the end of the year.
If you don’t, then the same people who slowed their business in the summer will certainly do the same through the upcoming holidays. Halloween through the New Years.
Simple-Easy to do, and also NOT to do. Lesson…..Keep your business growing through the summer and by September when typically business begins to boom again, YOUR business will be in full throttle.
